When making the soda, the first thing you need to do is to take a cup of water and heat it to about 100 to 110 degrees. As the water will get warm, up to 5 minutes dissolve the teaspoon of yeast into the water. However the quantity of yeast to be used is really important because too much or too little use of yeast can have a lot of affect on the carbonation of the soda. The appropriate quantity to be used is 1/8 of a teaspoon of yeast. After this process, take an empty gallon jug and put 2 ¼ cups of white sugar into the jug. Then simply add 1 table spoon of soda flavor and also dissolve the yeast directly into the jug.
After adding all the materials the jug must be screwed properly and you must shake the jug well so that that the water and the sugar gets dissolved appropriately. After shaking the jug gently, the dissolved mixture must be poured into a bottle with the help of a funnel. Afterwards, you have to tightly place the cap of the bottle and keep it in a cool place so that the mixtures get cooled up. But it is being advisable that you must drink the soda mixture after four to six days so that the soda gets carbonated well. You can even check the carbonation in the soda by simply squeezing the bottle. Finally as your soda is made, you can refrigerate it and thus enjoy your homemade soda.
